What are your hours of operation? 


     Monday - Friday             9 AM - 12 PM  or  4 PM - 6 PM
    
Saturday                          9AM - 12 PM Only
     Sunday                            9 AM - 10 AM or 5 PM - 6 PM
  

We are closed on all major holidays and office hours may be adjusted around the holidays to meet our increased schedule. Please call or email for holiday hours. 

We appreciate your respect and understanding of these office hours, in order to maintain our exercise schedule and personal attention to each pet we must maintain these hours. We will occasionally, at our discretion, set up an off hours pick up or drop off, but there is a $25.00 mandatory off hours fee for this service. Any unscheduled off hours visits will be a mandatory $35.00 fee.


 

Are your kennels heated & air-conditioned? 

 

-Yes, all areas of our facility are heated and air-conditioned.





Do you offer food to feed the animals or should we bring our own?  What types of food do you offer? 

 

  -We carry the ADULT formulas of most of the major brands:  Nutro Lamb & Rice, Iams, Eukanuba, Pro-Plan Chicken & Rice, Pro-Plan Lamb & Rice, Purina One Lamb & Rice, Purina Dog Chow, Pedigree, Science Diet, and Beneful.




 

Can I bring my own food?  Is the Royal Pet Resort able to give dogs special diets?  

 

 -Special diets are not a problem for us at the Royal Pet Resort.  We have a refrigerator, freezer and microwave oven for special diets if needed.



 

Do I need to bring my dog’s bed & bowls? 

 

 -We provide the dishes for the animals.  At the end of each day the stainless steel bowls are sterilized and it is hard for us to keep track of who’s bowl belongs to what dog. You may bring any bedding for you dog that you would like. Please keep in mind we do have a washer and drier, and we will do out best to keep it clean and in good shape.

 


What payment methods do you accept? 

 

 -We accept cash, personal check, Visa, Master Card, Discover, and Traveler’s Checks.

 



What should I bring with my pet to the Royal Pet Resort? 

 

 -You will need to bring vaccine certificates from your vet.  We cannot keep your pet without these!  You may also bring a dog bed if you pet has one at home.  If you choose not to, we can provide one.  Toys are bones may be brought as well. Please bring only toys/bones that your pet is used to.  This is not the time to experiment with new treats.

 


What should I not bring with me to the Royal Pet Resort when I drop off my pet?

 

 -Please leave your water/food bowls at home.  We provide stainless steel bowls which are sterilized daily.  Bowls from home get mixed up easily with our supply.

 


How are dogs chosen to participate in group play? 

 

 -Dogs must have some experience with socialization and be spayed or neutered if over seven months of age.  They must also pass our Temperament Test.  Once a dog is chosen they are put into a group based on size, temperament, and play styles. Our staff is well trained on understanding dog interactions and group dynamics, we offer extensive staff training in order to make this a controlled, safe, fun experience for all. 

 



Is there 24 hour supervision of the dogs? 

 

 -Yes, the owner lives on the property.

 

 



Can medications be administered? 

 

 -Administering medications is no problem, staff members are trained in proper administration techniques for oral, topical and injectable medications.
