Our mission is to provide your furry family member with an environment which provides clean, controlled, and fun loving care. We recognize that staying away from home is a strain on pets, just as it is on pet owners. It is our desire to make your pet feel at home.
We provide the finest care possible by keeping your pets in an active, entertaining environment. Most importantly, you can rest assured that our qualified, trained staff and 24 hour live-in management will provide your pet with the best care possible.

Meet our dedicated team below.
TRISH
Trish has been part of our family since 2002. She has a background in dog behavior and positive reinforcement training. When not tending to our guests, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and three little girls, as well as her English Setters.
SHANNON
Shannon is our office wonder woman! She takes care of billing, reservations and just about anything else you can think of. If you have called in to our offices or emailed us chances are you have interacted with Shannon! When she isn't on the phone she loves to relax at home with her awesome husband and their wonderful little girl.
SARAH
Sarah is our morning daycare driver and she loves to interact with the daycare and Stay N Play pups everyday. She says everyday brings something new and it keeps her on her toes. When she isn't taking care of the pups she volunteers at a local firehouse and enjoys spending time outdoors.
BRITTANY
Brittany is our evening daycare driver who just graduated from Penn State with a degree in Neuropsychology. She plans to use her degree combined with her love of dogs to unlock the secrets of a dogs brain. In the mean time she is content to spend her days tiring out our daycare dogs and taking them home happy and exhausted to their wonderful owners.
BRITTNEY
Britney is a member of our kennel staff who enjoys taking our boarding dogs for swims in our indoor pool. She can always be found outside interacting with different dogs and making lifelong friends. When she is not at the kennel she enjoys going on adventures with her husband and being one cat short of crazy.
KC
KC is another one of our versatile staff members she was our morning bus driver for a long time and has recently taken up a position inside the kennel. You can often find her in the grooming room brushing dogs or in our play fields exercising energetic pups or perhaps you called in and talked to her on the phone. When she isn't trying to be everywhere at once you can find her at home with her wonderful husband and three little boys who keep her on her toes more than the pups ever could!
NATE
Nate is our former office manager who is currently studying at Penn State University but not to worry you can still see him and his beloved lab Jaxin around the kennel from time to time. They just can't seem to stay away! Jaxin especially loves helping other dogs overcome their fear of the indoor swimming pool and Nate loves to interact with clients and dogs alike!
BECKY
Becky is the owner or Royal Pet Resort and has been in the pet business for well over 35 years. Like many others in this community, Becky originally came to the area as a student at PSU, with a focus on Animal Science and Business. Working for two animal hospitals for several years gave her great experience in general health and care of pets. Her first business was Aquatics N Exotics, a retail pet store with a focus on Avian and Exotic pets along with saltwater aquariums.
After operating this business for 11 years she began the Royal Pet Resort. Becky is passionate about working with animals and kids! She is a mother of 6 kids, foster mom to several others, host to many foreign exchange students, and now a grand mother :)

In addition, Becky is a member of the State College Downtown Rotary and firmly believes in the service above self motto. She is passionate about giving back to the community. Over the years she has been active in several nonprofits, especially those involving animals and children. She has sat on the board of directors for Centre Wild Life Care and is a 2019 Graduate of Leadership Centre County. She has fostered many pets for PAWS and Nittany Beagle Rescue.
Favorite hobbies include time with her family, hiking with her lab Maggie, mountain biking and enjoying her horses and animals at her other business, Buffalo Run Equestrian Center.
